The February 2024 attack on CHC impacted over 100 million healthcare transactions per day, disrupting services for tens of thousands of providers, payers, and labs nationwide.
Even though some systems have been restored, the downstream consequences continue to affect billing operations, patient statements, and insurance adjudication processes.
Claims submitted during the outage may have been delayed, lost, or rejected. Even after restoration, we are in process of fully re-billing and reconciling outstanding claims, especially as systems are manually reconnected and verified across insurers. You may experience outdated balances or unusual patient responsibility notifications as part of this recovery.
