The assembler will prepare testing kits for customers and patients by packaging subassemblies, keeping records of subassemblies, and labeling products.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of record keeping

• Ability to be attentive to detail

• Ability to work independently and maintain a positive attitude

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information

• This is an entry-level position. Knowledge of medical devices and warehouse experience are not required but are beneficial.

Job Duties (other duties may be assigned):

• Packaging medical testing kits and subassemblies for storage or shipment

• Keeping records of labels for received materials

• Examining packing slips for accuracy

• Following checklists and written instructions to maintain quality standards

• Evaluating materials and products for consistent quality

 

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to assemble packages; move boxes; and work with a computer. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and/or carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
