FOR CLINICS, TELEHEALTH AND BENEFITS PARTNERS

AMH testing for fertility clinics and fertility programs

Run AMH with your IVF bloodwork, or give patients a validated at-home AMH kit that ships anywhere in the US. Either way, every sample is tested in our CLIA-certified lab in Irvine, California, and results go to your EMR, your platform or a secure results portal.

Two ways to offer AMH testing

In-clinic draws (lab service)

Draw patients in your clinic and add AMH to the same requisition as the fertility workup. Courier pickup is available for California clinics.

Validated at-home AMH kits

Patients collect a finger-stick sample at home and mail it to our lab. The kits ship anywhere in the US, as IHDLab kits or branded for your clinic.

Both, on one account

Use venous draws for patients already in the clinic and kits for everyone else, with one results feed.

Who uses IHDLab for AMH

  • Fertility clinics and IVF centers that want an AMH result before the first consult

  • Fertility telehealth and women's health platforms without their own draw sites

  • Employer and fertility-benefits partners whose members are spread across many locations

  • Egg-freezing programs, plus single parents by choice and LGBTQ+ family-building programs that need a low-friction first step

Where at-home AMH collection fits

  • Before a first consult, so the physician has the result at the first appointment

  • Patients who live far from the clinic or a draw site

  • Telehealth programs with no draw sites

  • Benefits-sponsored programs with distributed members

Validated finger-stick methods track serum closely: in a Human Reproduction validation study, dried blood spot and serum AMH showed strong agreement (McDade et al., 2012). A 2026 paired-sample study found that fingerstick values ran higher than venous values, so repeat tests should stay on the same method and lab. Read more on AMH accuracy

How an AMH order works

Your clinician orders AMH through your EMR, the LabFlow API or our partner portal. For at-home orders, our in-house 3PL builds the kit and ships it overnight. The sample comes straight to our Irvine lab, results return to your EMR, your platform or a secure results portal, and your care team follows up with the patient.

What AMH can and can't tell your team

  • It estimates ovarian reserve and the likely response to stimulation (ASRM 2020, ESHRE 2025).

  • It doesn't measure egg quality or predict natural fertility.

  • It should be read against the reporting lab's own intervals, and repeat tests should stay on the same lab and assay.
