Job Description

We are a clinical laboratory seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounts Payable Associate to join our finance team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all payable transactions. Key Responsibilities:

 

  • ​Receive, review, and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

  • Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts, resolving discrepancies as necessary.

  • Maintain effective communication with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.

  • Address vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers, in accordance with payment terms.

  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices to maintain strong vendor relationships.

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding balances.

  • Assist in the month-end closing process, including account reconciliations.

  • Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records and documentation.

  • Assist in generating accounts payable reports and analysis as needed. · Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency. · Support other finance-related tasks and projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in finance or related field is preferred.

  • Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.

  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team environment

Pay Rate:
  • Starting at $19.00

Schedule:
  • M-F, 8am-5pm

  • Santa Ana, CA
